The Duckling is Here!

21 1/2 inches long

I ended up being at the hospital because Ducky (my brother) started having a panic attack when they first got to the hospital, so I had to take him his nausea medication. And then it didn't work, so I actually had to remove him from the hospital and take him home to take a quick nap. 

By the time we went back, everyone was there (her entire family. Like twenty people or more.) and her contractions were only a minute and a half apart. So I ended up just staying. Well, that's kind of how it happened. 

When Ducky and I got back to the hospital they were just getting ready to do the epidural. It slowed her labor down a lot, though. So my other brother got there once he got off work. At that point it was almost eleven. Ducky and his girl were trying to catch a little bit of sleep. My brother and mom and I were trying to decide if we wanted to go home or wait until there was actually a baby. So we went to eat. 

Right as we were paying our bill we got a text saying it was time. So we hauled ass across town back to the hospital. He was born twenty minutes later. 

He is tiny and perfect and beautiful. I'm in love.
