Well, for a minute.
BoyWonder finally decided to spring for a laptop... Well, kind of. My birthday is this weekend and I may or may not have demanded that he make it happen.
You know, not because I'm a brat, or anything, but because the computer situation we had going on was terrible and I can't stand to sit in bed every time I want to blog. And I tried blogging from my phone... It worked, but it was pretty frustrating.
So... A quick update, perhaps?
This week, I hit third trimester! Sprout's room is well underway--we've painted, refinished the hardwood floors, assembled the crib, and the dresser/changing table is getting ordered next week. I'm going to try to have pictures moved over to this computer in time to throw together a progress post sometime next week.
My klassy next-door neighbors bug-bombed their house and gave us cockroaches, which probably also deserves its own post at some point. Let's just say that so far, I've resisted the urge to commit arson but have caved on my 'no poison in my house' position.
Conditions at my job have gone from crappy to mind-numbingly stressful and all-around stupid, and BoyWonder finally gave me the go-ahead to quit when I'm ready. I'm still about halfway through buying my diaper stash, and there are a few other things I want to accomplish with my own money, so right now I'm trying to get a couple of goals in place to try to meet before I completely screw my company over, but it's happening. I'm more than likely going to quit and completely leave them hanging. Part of me feels bad, but after all these years of sacrificing social life, happiness, and sanity, most of me finds it more than a little bit hilarious. Also, I could probably elaborate on this some more in a separate post, which I will, once it all actually happens.
So... Hooray!
I'm so, so happy I can type on a real keyboard again... This is actually kind of sad.
But, I'll be back soon. Promise. :)

Welcome back!! :)
Congrats on getting to the third trimester!
I soooo did that to Dillons. After six long years...I gave them less than a week's notice. It felt damn good. Enjoy that.
