CD12: Too Early.

I have several follicles in the works, but they're all still small, and my lining is still thin. She said it's probably not going to be thin lining, but rather that since my follicles are still on the small side (two of them at 10mm and one that was right around 14mm), it's just too early, which is apparently pretty common on Femara.

So, lucky me, no IUI until further notice. My next ultrasound is on Friday, and if my follies have grown enough, we'll trigger that evening for a Sunday morning IUI. That would be interesting, for sure--I'm going out for my birthday on Saturday, and I have every intention of drinking, at least a little bit.

And today, I had the chance to time my drive from the doctor's office to my (soon to be) new store... It's just five minutes. Ten if I hit every light on the way. I keep thinking about how awesome it will be to be able to schedule appointments on my lunch break and still have time to eat before I go back to work.

That store is happier. More relaxed. I'm starting to get the feeling that my current store is run more like a concentration camp than anything else. The new store has seven people who transferred over from my store, so I'm also starting to call the new store the Refugee Camp.

Anywho... I only have to survive one more workday this week, and then I'm off until Monday. I have a date with my BFF, and a date to hang out with miss Kennedy, who is my half-brother's half-sister (confusing, yes?). She's eight years old. And she wants me to take her to see the Katy Perry movie. Not my cup of tea. I'm going to try to talk her into something else. I don't mind going to see a kid's movie, but I really don't want to go see Katy Perry. I don't know what else I'm going to take her to do. I really haven't been around very many little girls, and the ones I have spent time with are more tomboys, like I was. Kennedy is not that. So I'm thinking, I need a hair cut... Maybe I can have her get her nails done? I don't know. But I have until Friday to figure something out.
